PRP Facial Rejuvenation
Regenerative Skin Support • Skin Quality • Natural-Looking Rejuvenation
PRP Facial Rejuvenation uses platelet-rich plasma derived from your own blood as a regenerative treatment designed to support healthier-looking skin and gradual, natural-looking rejuvenation.
Rather than adding artificial volume or changing your facial features, PRP uses a concentrated portion of your own blood containing platelets and associated growth factors as part of a treatment focused on skin quality and tissue renewal.
What Is PRP?
PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma.
During treatment, a small amount of your blood is drawn and processed in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelet-rich portion of the plasma.
The prepared PRP is then strategically administered into selected areas of the face based on your individual concerns and treatment goals.
Because PRP comes from your own blood, this is considered an autologous treatment.
How Does It Work?
Platelets play an important role in the body's natural healing response and contain growth factors and signaling proteins involved in tissue repair.
When PRP is introduced into targeted areas of the skin, the goal is to support the body's natural regenerative processes and gradually improve overall skin quality.
PRP is not designed to produce the immediate volumizing effect associated with traditional dermal filler. Changes are typically more subtle and develop gradually.
What Can PRP Facial Rejuvenation Address?
PRP may be considered for clients looking to improve:
Overall skin quality
Fine lines and crepey-looking skin
Dull or tired-looking skin
Uneven skin texture
Under-eye skin quality
Early signs of skin aging
Overall facial rejuvenation
PRP can be particularly appealing for clients who prefer a regenerative approach using a treatment derived from their own blood.
PRP for the Under-Eye Area
The delicate under-eye area is one of the areas where PRP may be incorporated into a customized facial rejuvenation plan.
PRP may help improve the appearance and quality of thin, crepey, or aging under-eye skin over time.
It is important to understand that PRP is not the same as under-eye filler and does not replace lost volume in the same way. Significant hollowness, prominent fat pads, or structural concerns may require a different treatment approach.
A consultation is performed to determine whether PRP is appropriate for your specific under-eye concern.
PRP Injections vs. Microneedling With PRP
Although both treatments use platelet-rich plasma, they are different procedures.
PRP Facial Rejuvenation involves strategically injecting PRP into selected areas of the face to target specific concerns.
Microneedling + PRP combines microneedling with PRP as part of a skin-remodeling treatment focused primarily on concerns such as texture, acne scars, fine lines, and overall skin quality.
Your treatment plan may include one or both approaches depending on your skin and goals.
What Should I Expect?
A small amount of blood is drawn and processed to prepare your PRP. The PRP is then administered into the selected treatment areas using a series of small injections.
Treatment typically takes approximately 45–60 minutes.
Temporary swelling, redness, tenderness, pinpoint bleeding, or bruising may occur following treatment. Swelling can be more noticeable when treating the under-eye area.
Because PRP works through a regenerative process, results are not immediate. Changes in skin quality develop gradually over the weeks following treatment.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
Treatment recommendations vary depending on the area being treated, your skin quality, age, individual response, and treatment goals.
A series of PRP treatments may be recommended for progressive improvement, followed by additional treatments as appropriate to your individual goals.
Is PRP a Filler?
No. PRP and dermal filler work very differently.
Dermal fillers are injectable gels designed primarily to restore or create volume and contour.
PRP is derived from your own blood and is used as part of a regenerative approach focused on supporting skin quality and natural tissue-repair processes.
For clients who want subtle, progressive rejuvenation without intentionally changing their facial features, PRP may be an appropriate option.
